Frequently Asked Questions
Typically three stages: diagnosis & planning (scans/impressions), implant placement (a short, anaesthetised procedure), and crown placement after healing. Most cases take 3–4 months from placement to final crown; immediate or staged options are discussed after your scan.
Usually yes—especially for back teeth—because a crown protects the treated tooth from cracking and restores strength. Front teeth with good structure may sometimes be restored with a strong filling, but your dentist will advise after the RCT.
A crown covers the entire tooth and is ideal for weak, cracked or heavily filled teeth. A veneer is a thin shell bonded to the front surface to improve colour/shape with minimal tooth reduction. We recommend based on strength, aesthetics and bite.
Most orthodontic treatments finish in 6–18 months depending on case complexity. Clear aligners require 20–22 hours/day wear with reviews every 6–8 weeks; braces are usually reviewed every 4–6 weeks.
Yes. We use digital, low-dose X-rays with lead-apron protection. They’re taken only when clinically necessary—for example, during root canals, implant planning, wisdom teeth assessment, or to check hidden decay and bone levels.
